Newtrax has completed the first of five key customer trials of their Proximity Detection and Collision Avoidance System (CAS), expected in Q4 2022.

One of those trials has already been successfully completed, and the system was also showcased at Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions' Innovation in Mining event (Tampere, Finland, September 20-22).

Our Customer, Barminco, recently trialed the system at its Spotted Quoll underground mine (Western Australia).

A total of 34 underground scenarios were undertaken, all of which were completed to the customer's satisfaction. Further trials are now due to take place within Europe and North America.

Congratulations to the Engineering & Product Development team at Newtrax, with thanks in particular to William Alexis-Bouchard (Systems Integrator) and Jerry Cyriac (Application Specialist, APAC) for their hard work so far.
We now look forward to the outcome of the remaining trials, which will serve as important reference cases moving forward.
