With OptiMine Proximity Detection System, the operator approaching these workers will receive advanced notice of their presence and can take appropriate actions such as slowing down the vehicle or coming to a complete stop

Vehicles parked in the active areas of the mine can also be at risk

With the OptiMine PDS, operators receive advanced warning of these vehicles before they become visible

Detection of a Fixed Hazard

Fixed hazards may not be easily visible to LHD or Truck Operators.
By attaching a Fixed Hazard Beacon to a barricade, the operator will receive a notification as he approaches the fixed hazard

A Pedestrian afraid of being hit or witnessing a dangerous situation can push the emergency bottom of their cap lamp to send an emergency stop signal to the operators in range

If a worker falls unconscious, the system will detect their lack of movement and automatically send a fallen worker signal to all operators in range

Collision Avoidance System

( EMESRT L9 )

OptiMine Collision Avoidance (L9) adds a Vehicle Intervention Controller (VIC) for automated slow-to-stop control of the vehicle as an additional safety net if the operator fails to slow down or break in a timely fashion based on Collision Warning (L8) advisory warnings
