How Newtrax is Responding to COVID-19: A Message to Our Customers

The mining industry produces the metals needed to manufacture medical equipment and many other essential goods. And is also a key economic engine to finance healthcare and other social services in many communities around the world. We wanted to let you know that you have our full support, and we will do all we can to exceed your expectations.

Like you, we are closely tracking COVID-19 and adapting our business as the situation changes. Our highest priorities have been protecting the safety of our employees, customers, and community, while also ensuring that we continue to provide reliable products and solutions to support your operations during this unprecedented time.

Here is what we’re doing to support you:

  1. Securing Our Supply Chain: Over the past months, we have been working with our partners to ensure our hardware supply chain is not impacted. Our suppliers are operating at close to or at normal capacity and we do not foresee any disruption to product availability.
  2. Maintaining Operations: To help slow the spread of COVID-19 and protect vulnerable populations, all of our employees are rigorously following the guidelines of relevant authorities. As a recognized provider of essential services in Quebec as of April 15th 2020, some employees are returning at their regular work places with the recommended levels of social distancing, however most of our employees are currently able to work effectively from home and therefore continue to do so to help with greater social distancing at the office.  Our Remote Customer Support team continues to operate 24/7 and our deployment services are expected to resume as soon as safely possible as per governmental guidance.
  3. Monitoring Governmental Guidance: We’re maintaining strict adherence to guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO), and local government agencies. As this guidance evolves, so will our processes and procedures.

The work you do is critical in keeping our communities functioning, safe, and supported during this time, and we’re here to step up to this challenge alongside you. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help further.

Stay safe and healthy.
